On Saturday October 20, 2007 we held our very first Newberry Market Festival. The weather was a picture perfect festival day, and the vendors, members and visitors had a wonderful time networking with the community and families. The kids really enjoyed the activities led by Edward Jones of Newberry, and the bounce house provided by The Gourmet Rodent was a huge hit with the young ones. Check out details on our events page for the upcoming 2nd Annual Community Unity Day, which will be held at the site of the Original Watermelon Festival by the Historic Little Red School House.

Newberry designated a Florida Main Street Community

With an excited delegation from the City of Newberry in attendance, the Florida Main Street program named Newberry as a Main Street community. Newberry was one of only two communities to earn this designation in 2006.
